Kumbhpuri, the World’s Happiest City!

0
Kumbhpuri

Maha Kumbhpuri in Prayag is the world’s largest city which pops up within 3 weeks, exists for 55 days and is removed within 7 days. It is the most sacred space on planet Earth, where millions of enlightened beings have walked, are walking and will walk. It is a place that has all tastes and varieties of Hinduism being served in one place! Everything available in the world’s oldest spiritual tradition is found in Maha Kumbhpuri. If you don’t find something in Maha Kumbhpuri, you can be sure that it doesn’t belong to the Vedic tradition. It is the most happening city of the world.

Kalpavaas, Take A Break From Everyday Life

In the Vedic tradition, staying in Kumbhpuri for a certain number of days is considered a spiritual practice. It is referred to as ‘Kalpavaas’. Various scriptures state that it lasts for 21, 42 or 55 days. Every sadhu, sannyasi, leader, and follower gathered at Kumbh Mela celebrates it in his/her own way while being centred on the same truth.

During this period of abstinence a kalpavaasi spends his time in meditation, snaan and fulfilling rituals to further their growth in their pursuit of realizing the ultimate. The following vratas or vows are usually practiced by all kalpavaasis:
Sankalpa: Taking a conscious resolution before starting the Kalpavaas. All rituals in the Vedic tradition begin with a sankalpa, and Kalpavaas is no different. The sankalpa is what keeps all the actions of the kalpavaasi aligned with the purpose of the Kalpavaas.
Mundan: The most auspicious ritual for the kalpavaasi is the mundan, shaving of the head. Shaving the hair from the body opens up all the pores of the body and make the body extremely porous to the deluge of the conscious energy available to them in the Kumbh sthalas.
Snaan: Taking a dip in the holy river thrice a day. The holy dip in the sacred rivers rejuvenates the bio-memory of the kalpavaasis and frees them from their karmas. During the Kumbh Mela, the water of the rivers has the effect of amrit.
Paath: In the Kumbh Mela, the kalpavaasis go to different tents and listen to varying ideologies of Hinduism expounded in discourses by spiritual gurus and sadhus. They engage in vaad prativaada (spiritual debate) to enquire into the higher truths and cognize them in the right way. This is the best time to grasp even the subtlest of truths as the whole environment is vibrant with the positive vibes of enlightened beings.

The Life of a Kalpavaasi

Kumbh sthalas are under an auspicious impact of conscious energy during the time of the Kumbh Mela. The strength of Vedic tradition is such that the spiritual truths automatically enter into your ears just by staying at the Kumbh ghats. Even after facing many invasions, the power of the Vedic tradition is still alive. There is a lot of joy and pride in belonging to the Vedic tradition, just by witnessing the phenomenon of Kumbh Mela. Kumbhapuri awakens devotion, knowledge, joy, pride, courage, trust, and ultimately, the bliss of Vedic tradition.

Another beautiful aspect of the city is that there are no immoral activities. There’s not a single trace of non-veg, alcohol, sexual activities or gambling. The whole city is just centred on one truth – spirituality. In fact, the crime rate is so low, that most tents don’t even have doors or gates. Even food is not sold; rather it is served freely to millions every day.Living in such a space for extended periods of time transforms your very ideas about life and what you perceive as the world. You wake up to the possibilities offered by the authentic Vedic lifestyle.

Indo-British Study on Kalpavaasis & Happiness

The kalpavaasis are an immensely blissful people in spite of the cold weather, pollution, simple food, clothes and shelter. Those conditions remain too insignificant compared to the bliss of the Vedic tradition. Recently, the Indo-British collaborative study done on kalpavaasis proved that despite the physical conditions being poor, kalpavaasis go back much healthier and happier. They took into account various parameters, such as health, noise, crowd, confronting inhospitable conditions during Kalpavaas and found out that there was an overall positive impact on kalpavaasis.

The Kumbh Mela is a celebration not to be missed by even those who have the slightest interest in Vedic tradition. It is the celebration of the ultimate happening!

Why Kumbh Melas are Good for the Planet

0
kumbh melas

Kumbh Melas are spiritual congregations which unite mankind under one banner of faith and devotion. But that is only the tip of the iceberg.

Kumbh Melas have been happening on the planet for thousands of years. The stone inscriptions of different akhadas refer to more than 1000 Kumbh Melas. Times have changed, technologies have changed, yet one thing about the Kumbh Melas remains: they are the epicenters of cosmic energy.

Every enlightened being that has happened on the planet, or is happening on the planet, attends the Kumbh Mela. One enlightened being is equivalent in energy to nine million people. The Kumbh Mela is the time and the place where all the enlightened masters’ energies are centered to bless and heal the entire planet.

According to the hundreds of experiments by Dr Masaru Emoto, our thoughts and emotions have a distinct effect on our environment. Dr Emoto exposed many samples of the same water to people carrying different emotions and thoughts; some with anger, violence, pain and some with love, gratitude, joy. The effect of the thoughts on the water is unmistakable. It has been proved, beyond all doubt, that thoughts affect water, and hence anything that is fluid. If one person’s thoughts can affect one glass of water, then the effect of millions of sadhus, devotees and enlightened beings on the sacred rivers can not even be imagined.

Deities energised by enlightened masters who have left the body are immersed in water throughout the snaan period of the Kumbh Mela. The healing power of this water is immense. Not only the water, the entire space or kshetra becomes vibrant with their energy.

This water, sanctified by these positive energies, becomes amrit or nectar. ‘Kumbh’ is the place where the nectar happens. Kumbh Mela is the place where amrit is distributed. The best possibilities of a human being become available in the Kumbh Melas by partaking of this amrit.

Followers of Hinduism of all paths, paramparas (traditions), sects and castes unite under one banner of devotion in the Kumbh Melas. The Kumbh Mela is attended by all sadhus and gurus, of all paths. All the major belief sects, sampradayas of Hinduism: Ganapathya – Ganapathi worshippers, Kumara – Skanda worshippers, Shakta – Devi worshippers, Shaiva – Shiva worshippers, Saura – Surya worshippers, Vaisnava – Vishnu worshippers, and Guru – the worshippers of the Guru. The gods of all the traditions are brought here. Also, all the other traditions, Ramakrishna Mission, Chinmaya Mission and many other missions representing their gods and gurus also take part in the Kumbh Mela.

The dust from the feet of many great enlightened masters and sages is found in this land. Masters like Shankara, Gnanasambandar, Ramanuja, Swami Narayan, Vivekananda, Kapil Muni, Paramahamsa Yogananda, Sri Rama and Sri Krishna walked there.

The Kumbh Mela is not just a gathering of humanity, it is a grand spiritual festival. It is the place and the time when human beings can visualize and actualize their highest possibilities of achieving the Ultimate. Not only enlightenment, even the path to enlightenment leads to bliss and liberation. A Kumbh Mela is a microcosm of all the dimensions of Hinduism, giving the world an opportunity to explore the higher Self.

The Biggest Conscious Gift Available to Humanity

0
conscious gift

Kumbh Mela is a conscious gift! The biggest conscious gift! It is a place where the energy of the Cosmic consciousness comes to planet Earth visibly for all to see. From the organizers of this great happening, to the ascetics, pilgrims, and spiritual heads, all are working and acting out of this energy. The atmosphere of Kumbh Mela is then one of pure enlightenment and spiritual growth. Those who attend this extraordinary event will simply get swept away on the wave of enlightened consciousness to new spiritual and conscious heights.

Kumbh Mela is an event unlike any other on planet Earth. Not only is it the largest gathering of human beings in one place, it the the largest peaceful gathering of human beings. No crime, or misconduct pollute the waters of the sacred space of Kumbh Mela during the whole event! How is this possible? How is it possible that such a large gathering of human beings can take place without any setbacks, or hiccups along the way? The answer is simple. Kumbh Mela is a pure conscious happening. Where else will you see sadhus, or renunciates, burying their heads in the sand, or standing on one leg for years, and performing various other conscious miracles for all to see? Where else is food served freely for all, without even a hint of making a profit off of the masses who flock to this event? How is it possible that over 100 million people can take a holy snan, or bath, sincerely and offer prayers without a stampede or interruption of any kind? This is Kumbh Mela! It is an event inspired by the Cosmic consciousness for the Cosmic consciousness!

The spirit of this great festival can never be shaken. It is normal that over time such large gatherings of human beings should eventually become corrupted or changed in such a way that the original spirit is lost. This does not happen with Kumbh Mela. The original intent, to experience Cosmic consciousness, is still very much alive in all areas of Kumbh Mela. There is even a tradition, age-old, that no one is allowed to take anything back from Kumbh Mela. Sadhus who are performing religious austerity are many times given money and offerings by those who pass by. This offering, also called ‘bhandara’, is eventually given to other sadhus and beggars. The sadhus simply give away all that has been offered to them. They will leave the way they came, empty-handed. This tradition is still very much alive in Kumbh Mela.

Only by coming to Kumbh Mela can you experience the true power of this Cosmic space. A conscious happening can only be experienced consciously. Kumbh Mela is the biggest conscious happening in the world allowing all to experience the Vedic tradition and culture in a truly vibrant way! It is a pure representation of the Hindu way of life. All the philosophies of Hinduism are on full display during the festival. Kumbh Mela cannot be missed. It is a once in a lifetime event that can transform and enrich anyone who attends.

Kumbh Chalo! Why YOU Should Go to Kumbh Mela

0
Kumbh Chalo

Kumbh Chalo – this is the call I am making to you, to have the experience to live a minimalistic life of aparigraha, which you will experience in the Kumbh Mela. Please listen. Reject all those anti-faith people who wrongly judge Bharat as a poor country. Spiritually, Bharat is a very rich country and you must go to the Kumbh Mela to experience that.

Kumbh Chalo, because the Kumbh Mela is a celebration of the richest Vedic traditions. The naga sadhus are the very embodiment of aparigraha and nirvana – the science of enlightenment and liberation. And so are the millions of devotees and pilgrims who come from all over the world with a single-minded fervour of devotion and faith to take a dip in the sacred waters to feel oneness with the Supreme Being and enlightenment.

Kumbh Chalo, because it is at the Kumbh Mela that you will experience POSSIBILITY in its highest form. The auspicious planetary configuration of Simhasta Kumbh charges the whole atmosphere with divine cosmic energy, radiating it intensely, giving everyone present there the possibility for enlightenment! Understand, that by your very presence you add your energy to any field you exist in, any space you are around, especially when you are active intensely!

The Harvard Review says that the Kumbh Mela of 2013 at Allahabad was better organized than the FIFA World Cup, despite billions of dollars being poured into its organization. But in the Kumbh Mela, things just happen – everything just gets organized. Why? Because, no matter how disorganized we are in other aspects of life, Hindus are highly organized when it comes to their religion and festivals. That is because we are interested in it and intensely active and focussed when involved in its celebrations.

Kumbh Chalo – to experience how more than 10 crore people can walk along a very restricted place at the Kumbh Ghat, with full religious fervour, take a holy dip and yet not cause a stampede or commit any crime! Because, they know the Kumbh Ghat is a very sacred place.

Kumbh Chalo – to experience the power of our sacred sentiments. It is in the Kumbh Mela we celebrate our spiritual sacredness, where we teach certain concepts and certain Truths. This is where you can experience Nithyananda as the great Naga, descendant of and descended from Mahadeva. And, know that if millions of people are doing something, it is because it is our culture, our sacredness.

Kumbh Chalo – to be a part of the annadaan, feeding the sadhus – people who have consciously chosen the minimalistic life. It is through annadaan we show our respect for their lifestyle and their conscious decision to live it as ascetics because of their beliefs.

Therefore, if you are tired or bored and want to recharge yourself, Kumbh Chalo!
If you have a physical disease, Kumbh Chalo!
If you have a psychological disorder, Kumbh Chalo!
Even if you are a non-believer, Kumbh Chalo! – because, even for such a person liberation is waiting there!

In the spiritual activism of the place, the body and mind will reinvent itself and your diseases will disappear. Because, at the Kumbh Mela the whole atmosphere will be charged with spiritual ferociousness and celebration will be active.

Kumbh Mela is our life, our very own celebration where we show how we live, where we enrich the world with what we believe, with what we think, with what we hold and how we hold as life for us.

Kumbh Mela is where we celebrate LIFE and our BELIEFS. Kumbh Mela is the place where sacredness and tapas radiates, where living with minimal things is practiced and where millions of naga sadhus demonstrate the power of nirvana (liberation) to the world.

KUMBH CHALO!

The Nectar of Immortality, Available to You

0

Immortality is the rare quality of a group of people living, beaming with the universal truths of life. When they come together at the Kumbh Mela as a spiritual force, that nectar of immortality becomes available to all who become a part of the Kumbh Mela.

A tattva or a spiritual doctrine means an idea grasped by your intellect. Satya means an idea imbibed by your bio-memory. When a group of people start living the tattvas as satya, anyone who comes inside that group, gets blessed by those tattvas. When you radiate those tattvas, you become immortal, just like the legendary Nachiketa of Kathopanishad, who became immortal because of his authenticity. When a group of people radiate these tattvas, they become the kumbh pot. Whoever comes into their space, they are all given that nectar, and whoever receives that nectar, they also become immortal. The real amrit kumbh is the strength of enlightened consciousness, maintained by the group of enlightened beings.

When The Gods Lost the Amrit Kalasha: What Really Happened

There was a time, there was a group of people who were radiating these tattvas, living like gods. That place was called Svargaloka and that collective enlightened consciousness was called amrit kalasha.

Sometimes, some people who get into the place, want to enjoy the infrastructure of the place but don’t want to practice the tattvas. A few demons got into the Svarga loka to enjoy the palaces, but they didn’t want to live the principles of the place. When you enter into a place and want to enjoy the infrastructure but don’t want to follow the principles, you are called an asura, demon. When you live inauthentically, you make others also believe that they can enjoy the infrastructure and be inauthentic. So the gods also started becoming demonic. When a critical mass is not living authenticity, the collective super-consciousness gets destroyed. That is how the amrit kalasha gets lost in the ocean of confusion. The gods were suffering, and demons were enjoying. Gods enjoy when they achieve something, demons enjoy when others lose something.

Kumbh Mela: Bringing the Nectar Back

Whoever wants to live enlightenment needs to take the responsibility for not just their own but others’ inauthenticity as well, because others’ inauthenticity will also affect the being who wants to live enlightenment as a lifestyle. Who is responsible for the pot falling into the ocean does not matter, because suffering is for the people who want to radiate enlightenment. All the beings who want to live like gods, take the responsibility to retrieve that amrit and make it available to all mankind.

When a large gathering of people living the great truths as their lifestyle come together in the Kumbh Mela, the nectar of immortality or amrit that humanity had lost, becomes available to mankind once again. Kumbh Melas are the rare opportunity for all to partake of that nectar that is available to them just by dint of being a part of the festival.

Third Eye Awakening – See the World Anew!

0

Just like the two eyes you have, you have a third possibility to perceive the whole world. The third eye is not just used for seeing alone. It can be used even to hear, touch feel, work. Third eye is a powerful new possibility. It is called the third eye because the moment it is activated the first thing happens is you will be able to see with your two eyes closed.

The third eye awakens not just your ordinary needs, like health, and wealth, but rather, a whole new dimension of life. This happens when your Kundalini Shakti is awakened, and raised to your brow center. Between your eyebrows and nose is the point where the third eye is available. When your third eye is awakened, you start seeing, perceiving all of life as a higher dimension, with higher possibility. Your Kundalini Shakti starts staying in higher planes so it always keeps you in next level of completion, highest energy, highest health, peak possibilities. All your peak possibilities open up.

The Divine Intervention and Third Eye Awakening

When a lamp is lit and you take another lamp near it, the flame jumps to the unlit lamp. Near the awakened third eye of an enlightened master, if your third eye is brought, simply the flame jumps. In the Shiva Agamas, Mahadeva has given a beautiful proper technique: Shaktipada. The word ‘Shaktipada’ is described in Agamas as transmission of energy to awaken your Kundalini Shakti and third eye. If your third eye is awakened, you will be able to see without using your physical eyes. You will be able to hear without using your physical ears. So many multiple powers and possibilities begin to open up.

What Your Third Eye Awakening Can Do for You

The kids of Nithyananda Gurukul have been initiated into third eye awakening by Paramahamsa Nithyananda and demonstrate extraordinary powers of blindfold reading. The process which Nithyananda Gurukul kids go through is a whole brain activity. It’s the awakening of the whole brain through kundalini shakti. Their IQ just shoots up and their emotional stability, the way they see the life, way they perform examination, everything reaches its peak possibility. Blindfold reading is only the first indicator of the vast ocean of mystical powers available to them, waiting to get expressed.

In the ‘Inner Awakening for Kids’ program, every child is initiated into third eye awakening. This solves all the problems the modern day youth and kids are facing in the society – depression, obesity, addiction to food or all other addictions (video games, Facebook, violence); everything settles down. The kids start seeing their life in a beautiful way, from their higher possibility. Inner Awakening for Kids is the only antidote to the problems which kids are suffering from.

Anything that succeeds 100% of times, can be called as a science. Third eye awakening and blindfold reading has been established as a science in kids of ages below 14 yrs. All the kids who attend the ‘Inner Awakening for Kids’ program demonstrate the ability to read blindfolded. Sending your child to the ‘Inner Awakening for Kids’ program ensures that they will come back to you as an angel, as a god.
Many adults whose third eyes are awakened also experience miracle powers like the power to intuit, higher intelligence, blindfold reading etc. They report the ability to manifest miracles not just for their own selves, but for others as well.
With the third eye initiation by Paramahamsa Nithyananda, you won’t just experience Shivoham, you will express Shivoham!

Fall in Love with Your Higher Self

0

Completion is nothing but falling in love with your higher Self and deciding to reside in your higher Self. Your ishta devata (your favourite deity) is the embodiment of your higher Self. Surrender to your ishta leads you to powerfulness, joy and strength, not to powerlessness, kashta or suffering.

Giving Up is not Surrender

When you carry the space of surrender, everything in life listens to you.

The surrender makes you deeply powerful. In western thought trends, surrender is misinterpreted and given the wrong meaning. It is used mostly in the context of giving up, as in when you lose. For example, in a war, surrendering means dropping all your weapons in defeat. Mostly, your act of ‘giving up’ out of powerlessness is what you think of as surrender. But, giving up is not surrender. Surrender doesn’t come from powerlessness; it comes from tremendous powerfulness.

In bhakti (devotional) literature, the word ‘surrender’ has a totally different meaning. The appropriate word to use to indicate surrender, as given in Sanskrit would be ‘sharanagati’ – ‘sharana’ and ‘agati’. It represents such powerfulness. The great devotees like Meera, Andaal, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu from the Narada Bhakti Sutras (sacred scriptures), in fact, the whole Bhakti Sampradaya (the lineage of enlightened beings following the path of devotion) finally evolves to the ultimate surrender. Surrender neither starts with powerlessness, nor does it give you powerlessness, nor does it end in powerlessness. On the other hand, surrender starts with powerfulness, leads you to more powerfulness and ends in the ultimate powerfulness.

More completion leads to more surrender. More surrender leads to more completion. The more and more completion you do, the more and more the surrender starts happening in you. The science of completion and the science of powerfulness complement each other. When you complete more and more, you become powerful. Similarly when you surrender more and more, you become powerful.

Is Your Thinking Making You Powerful?

If your way of thinking makes you feel powerful, you are thinking in the right direction. If your thinking is making you powerless every day, you are thinking in the wrong direction. The world, life and the universe respond to you exactly the way you behave with it. If you are violent, constantly violence is given back to you. When you surrender and thereby establish yourself in the space of completion and powerfulness, your victory is eternal.

When the science of completion connects with the science of surrender, the space you create becomes reality.

When you are complete, your individual identity will be surrendered to the cosmos. Then, the cosmos functions through you. Ultimately the complete completion happens when you don’t even bother about it. Even the desire or the effort for the complete completion is surrendered. When that effort is surrendered at the feet of the Divine, the complete completion happens.

The Celebration that Began with Liberation!

0

One of the oldest celebrations in the Vedic tradition is the Karthikai Deepam festival. It is the celebration of consciousness and awareness which is represented by lights. According to the Vedic calendar, this was the first day that the concept of time started from the big bang, the beginning of the creation of the cosmos. In North India it is also known as Dev Deepavali. The celebrations last for ten days during which Mahadeva liberates the whole cosmos. In the morning one lamp is lit in front of the garbha (main energy center) in each city. From it, many lamps are lit for each deity. In the evening all of these lamps are merged into one main lamp. It is a powerful understanding about the Consciousness becoming many and again merging into one.

Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, the enlightened master, beautifully says,

“A person who cannot celebrate deities and temples will live a dry spiritual life!”

Their whole spiritual practice becomes a matter of logic, grinding logic. It is like a person eating himself! It is the temples and deities which bring the joy of Hinduism into our lives! Festivals and celebrations are as important as completion and creation of the space in our lives!

The Beginning of Time

Karthikai Deepam was the day Shiva appeared as a light beam of consciousness to Brahma and Vishnu. Brahma is the highest intellectual possibility one can reach while Vishnu is the highest infrastructural possibility. They are the two components of matter – the physical realm and the mind. Both of them thought they were the ultimate! It usually happens once we reach something extraordinary in any aspect of life! On seeing this, Shiva had to liberate them from delusion and give them the ultimate enlightenment. The day Shiva appeared as the shaft of light is celebrated as Karthikai Deepam while the day Brahma and Vishnu got liberated is celebrated as Shivaratri.

The Play of Consciousness

Karthikai Deepam is also celebrated as Devi’s enlightenment day. Umadevi, through her tapas, became a part of Ishwara (consciousness). Devi did the panchaagni tapas (penance of the five fires) to achieve enlightenment and to become one with Shiva. On that evening, when the sun set and the moon rose, Shiva appeared as the light of pure consciousness and gave half of it to Devi. Devi then realized her masculine part and became Ardhanareeshwara – a part of Shiva.

If you are in the male body and realize the feminine part in you, you get enlightened. Similarly, if you are in the female body and realize the masculine part in you, you get enlightened. Each person can experience the same thing Devi experienced. Whatever was created goes back and merges into the ultimate, Shiva. The main lamp lit on the first day is Purusha or Shiva.

The various lamps lit from this lamp represent prakriti (nature) or Devi. It is the day when prakriti merges into purusha.

Where Are You Headed?

0

While we spend most of our lives seeking pleasure and happiness, rarely do we pause to look in and identify what we are defining as pleasure and what are the things we are consciously enjoying in life. This looking in is an antidote to the very thing which distracts us from looking in: agitational gratification.

When we see our lives as something that has a narrow span, we get hijacked by hormones and end up focussing on ‘agitational gratification’.

This way of life is a function of an ignorant cognition of identifying ourselves with what is perishable. When we have a larger vision of life as declared by the Upanishads we get established in ‘delayed gratification’ which is the path to success, peace and fulfilment in life.

The Default Condition of the Sense Perceptions

All so-called luxury, the sensory pleasures are agitational gratification. The agitation you feel in the tongue, you gratify it with junk food which destroys your health but gives you temporary gratification. Few minutes later, you are depressed, tired, bored, and want to go to sleep.

Similarly, whether it is through the other senses such as eyes, ears, nose, or touch, the ‘agitational gratification’ items will always be with a short term goal and vision. At those times, you will not even think that you have a life span that is 80-100 years.

What Do You Consider As ‘You’?

If you think you are going to live for 100 years, you know how you are supposed to maintain your mind and body. If you are brilliant and understand it is not only 100 years but it is a cycle of birth and death, birth and death, then you know how you are supposed to handle everything in a mature and wise way. You will be clear about your pleasure, pain, good and bad.

A common person looks only at the 20-25 years (s)he is supposed to live healthily with all the so called pleasures. By 25, (s)he will have a little money to do what he wants and by 50 life is over. So with a very very short vision of 25 years, plan for life is made. Then all your strategies about you and life will be based on things and ideas that are destructible.

Agitational Gratification Destroys You

Anything which makes you get into this ‘agitational gratification’ is the mental setup based on the perishable. It indicates that you are worshipping the perishable. Then you are bound to perish, as you are planning to perish. Don’t cry when the perishing happens to you, because you planned for it and you worked for it.

The Beauty of ‘Delayed Gratification’

Delayed gratification means having a long term vision about you and understanding your pleasure and pain from that cognition. When you are functioning from this principle of delayed gratification, the quality of food, music, visuals, smell and touch you enjoy will transform.

Look at Life With Awareness

Let the hormonal hijack not happen in your life. Let hormones not be the strategizers and decision makers of your life. Look in, don’t be afraid to re-strategize yourself, reinvent yourself, shake your whole life and rebuild it. Don’t be afraid. It is never too late. Even if you are going to die in the next 15 minutes, 15 minutes is too much time. Come back to being imperishable. Let no hormones hijack your consciousness and idea about you.

Cognize Yourself as Imperishable

Your cognition about you and strategy for life should be based on imperishable components (soul/consciousness) which do not perish. Develop the taste of good, bad, right, wrong, pleasure and pain based on that cognition.

Blessed are those who live on imperishable and live with ‘delayed gratification’; cursed are those who live with perishable and live for ‘agitational gratification’.

The Gift of Nithyanandoham

Nithyanandoham has been designed by me to awaken my possibilities in you. It awakens the core of you which is imperishable and works on you at the level of bio-energy. Nithyanandoham is my gift to humanity to establish themselves in the cognition that they are imperishable.

Cognizing yourself and strategizing yourself on the imperishable is the only way to exist and become imperishable.

This will become the sahaja (natural) way of living for Nithyanandoham participants. Establish yourself in the space of Akshaya!

Sammyama: Find Out Who You Really Are!

0

‘Sammyama’ means exploring and expressing the possibilities of extraordinary experiences and powers which are available to all of us.

The human body is a masterpiece of millions of years of creative evolution. The human bio-memory contains the cumulative bio-memory of every life form that we have taken before. Whatever we think of as miraculous powers in the modern day are only skills and abilities that we once had, but have forgotten in our present human birth. As Paramahamsa Nithyananda says, ‘If a fish can live underwater, you can live underwater. If a bird can fly, you can fly!’ Rediscovering these abilities is Nithya Sammyama.

The purpose of Nithya Sammyama is not only to empower us with extraordinary capabilities. These sammyamas are powerful catalysts in the path of a spiritual seeker, preparing the body and mind to hold and radiate the phenomenal energies that are released with enlightenment. They also give us the confidence that we are progressing on the path!

Each sammyama is designed to liberate us from the physical and mental patterns that are binding us to lives of disease, fear and mental poverty.

The sincere practice of any of these sammyamas can liberate us from the limitations of body-mind and take us to higher states of awareness, helping us grow from human to superhuman states in consciousness, freedom, power and bliss.

The Science Of Sammyama

The word ‘sammyama’ is a Sanskrit word which means ‘that which ties together’. Sammyama is an intense processes that gathers and concentrates our scattered energies in a single direction.

Traditional yoga texts recognize sammyama as the integration of the last four limbs of ashtanga yoga – pratyahara (shutting down the senses), dhaarana (concentration), dhyaana (contemplation) and samadhi. 21 units of pratyahara is considered to be equivalent to one unit of dhaarana, 21 units of dhaarana is equivalent to one unit of dhyaana and 21 units of dhyaana is equivalent to one unit of samaadhi. Sammyama is the integration of all these.

Patanjali Yoga Sutras, one of yoga’s foundational texts, states:

trayam ekatra sammyamah (3.4)
The integration of these three (dhaarana, dhyaana and samaadhi) is sammyama
tajjayaat prajnaalokah (3.5)

From the mastery of sammyama comes the light of consciousness..
Sammyama was offered as a technique for spiritual enlightenment in the Tamil epic ‘Tirumandiram’ revealed by the saint Tirumoolar, who is believed to have lived in the physical body for over 3000 years without any solid food. The word ‘Tirumandiram’ translates as the ‘Science of Miracles’.

Sammyama is far more than a technique or process. Enlightened master and accomplished yogi Paramahamsa Nithyanada reveals, “Sammyama is diving into your center and staying there by the power of tapas (spiritual discipline). As a laser beam which illuminates whatever it falls upon, a concentrated mind that has mastered sammyama can simply illumine any field that it chooses to focus on. All deeper and subtler states of knowledge can be mastered only through the process of sammyama. Sammyama is also the key to the expression of extraordinary yogic powers, because sammyama breaks the individual and collective bonds that bind us in space and time.”

It is the nature of the mind to be restless and scattered. By creating a strong flow of thought in one direction, sammyama shakes the very roots of the mind, uprooting patterns and habits of a lifetime – sometimes lifetimes. For those who can withstand the churning of sammyama, its helps break free from the mental patterns once and for all

Verbalization and Visualization

Sammyama changes the way our brain perceives external and internal signals.

While we are normally accustomed to functioning through verbalization, sammyama moves us to the next level – to function through visualization.

Although sammyama is seen as a way to master the mind it encompasses more than the mind. Sammyama happens when your ability to feel, think and be – all three are centered on one subject. Emphasizing the intensity and perseverance with which sammyama should be undertaken, Patanjali, the ancient enlightened master and the father of yoga, says that the practitioner must not move from the spot till his hair grows roots into the ground!

To be completely effective, sammyama needs three components – the presence of an enlightened master who initiates one into the sammyama, the technique itself, and the Sangha or group of practitioners experimenting with the technique. The right ambience creates a powerful energy field where beginners can simply pick up the positive bio-memory of those who are already trained in that sammyama.

The Excitement for Nithyanandoham!

We invite the registered participants of Nithyanandoham to share what made them take the jump to Nithyanandoham and how they feel about the same.

Name: Sri Nithya Vitashokananda
Location: New York
Profession: Real Estate Investor

What made you decide to go for ‘Nithyanandoham’ ?

I love the beach and I love Swamiji so the decision was simple. I couldn’t say no to the thought of a tropical island and being with Swamiji on the beach at night under the stars, having sessions and listening to the ocean! And I’m so excited that my entire family is also going!

I decided to go as soon as Swamiji told us what it would be about. The previous Inner Awakenings were about awakening our possibility, but Nithyanandoham will be about awakening his possibility. I don’t even know what that means but it’s exciting!

How did you figure everything out for attending the program?

I just paid a portion of the deposit and relaxed knowing that everything else will get taken care of as it always has in the past. For my business, everything got taken care of while I was away and I even got money sent to me while I was volunteering in Varanasi.

It’s the busiest time for my business so taking another month for Nithyanandoham was not in my plans originally. I was at May Shivoham, and then October volunteering as well. But when the opportunity presents itself you have to take it. I realized that I have to let myself dream, only then possibilities can open up and I’ll start seeing ways to make it.

What would you say to anyone who is thinking about attending Nithyanandoham?

It’s very simple: Either you trust Swamiji will take care of everything for you or you don’t.

Don’t play games and make things complicated by being in between or unsure of where you stand. If you believe he’ll take care then go ahead and register right now as soon as you finish reading this. If not, or you have various “reasons”, etc why you can’t go then no problem… you can just enjoy Nithyanandoham through Facebook by watching everyone’s photos from the program and with Swamiji at the beach, and wishing you were there.

Erin McMillin (Devananda)

Name: Erin McMillin (Ma Nithya Devananda)
Location: USA
Profession: RN, Hospital Administrator

What made you decide to go for ‘Nithyanandoham’ ?

After missing Bali Inner Awakening in 2013 I told myself not to ever miss it again! Last December I attended the first Shivoham Inner Awakening in Cambodia with Swamiji with some 450 participants from over 40 countries around the world. Swamiji’s divine presence, the powerful meditation processes in the sacred geometrical formations, touring ancient temple sites that were chambers for enlightenment and Kundalini awakening of the masses were the most profound experiences of my life! The December Nithyanandoham Inner Awakening is end of the cosmic shift which is not to be missed!

How did you figure everything out for attending the program?

I followed my heart, not my logic. I was not granted a leave of absence as a hospital administrator so I quit my job, paid my bills for 3 months and bought a one-way ticket to India. To attend December Inner Awakening I liquidated an IRA and made it happen! I will be staying in India for a year!

What would you say to anyone who is thinking about attending Nithyanandoham?

Listen to your heart, to your being. Follow your heart no matter how little sense it makes in your mind!

The answers are within you if you are willing to really listen! This is the last flight of the cosmic shift. Swamiji says this is the most powerful time for transformation with minimal effort on our part – do not miss it! Sri Nithyananda Swami is the living enlightened master of our time and every human will benefit greatly from experiencing his divine presence! Swamiji is raising humanity to the next level of evolution and he is constantly leading us to expand beyond what we thought was possible!

“Even While Praying, I am You”

0

I’ll explain the science of prayer. Usually, the mind always operates from duality. If you utter the words, “he is not good,” you have already came to the conclusion that he is bad; you can’t take a stand that he is not good without saying that he is bad. As a natural flow, your logic is always taught to take the extreme stands. The moment you hear that he is not good, immediately you feel that he is bad. Understand, duality keeps the mind alive.

Duality keeps dilemmas alive. Your mind is so brilliant, it can even use religion to keep itself alive.

Prayer is one of the most misunderstood, abused concepts. The moment you are asked to pray, the moment you need to put the God in the high pedestal, you always decide to put yourself on a low pedestal. In some stupid traditions it is even celebrated as humbleness! No! Humbleness is not thinking less OF you, it is thinking less ABOUT you! Humbleness is not the image you have about yourself, it has nothing to do with the image you have about yourself. It is to do with how many times you remember yourself. One of the most stupid mistakes humanity has committed is putting yourself down and thinking that only then you can put your God up. No! Putting your God up does not require putting yourself down. Putting yourself down does not necessarily make you put your God up.

Prayer itself is a technique to break this non-duality; it is to break this non-dual perception.

Lower inner image is the worst sin.

If you are consciously asked to build that, it is like you are building your own cage where you will be locked. Can there be anything more stupid than this? The upanishadic rishis are very clear, “Even when I pray, I am you. Sohamasmi!”

In any form, consciously engaged powerlessness will only lead to bondage, whether it is during the period of your study, or during the period of assimilation and cognition of the truths about your life, or the time when you build your relationships and career, or when you pray or meditate, in any part of life entertained powerlessness will only bring tremendous bondage and suffering to you. Understand, even in front of God, you don’t need to feel powerless to pray to Him.

The Vedic rishis have outlined clearly, “Even while I have not experienced it and realized my oneness with You, even though I am a devotee and praying to You, I know the truth: I am one with You.” This is the definition of prayer: remember,

God is above, above, above, true. But you don’t need to be below for God to be above.

Ripen Your Seeking to Taste Life!

0

Seeking is your innermost core’s decision to be free, awakened, and not to continue with the status quo. When you fall in love with this seeking, the capacity to reinvent your very core consciousness gets awakened in you. This state is one where even you will be surprised about you and your very understanding about you will become different. You become so serene, so graceful, so alive, so light, and you are ready to take off.

Is the God In You Still Sleeping?

Seeking is the finest expression of God in a human being. It is Mahadeva expressing in you. The finest, subtlest, greatest power to experience God can express through you is seeking, because He reminds His nature to you, and makes you into He.

When the seeking expresses through your head, it comes out as knowledge to you; when it comes out of your heart, it expresses as devotion; when it expresses through your being, it comes out as energy. Whether it is knowledge, devotion or energy, seeking is the way the God in you wakes up.

Seeking, Another Name for God’s Grace

If you have started seeking, God has showered His grace on you.

His training is not going to stop till you achieve your goal. Shankara says, Mumukshutwa (awakening of seeking) in human being is one of the greatest thing, rarest thing that can happen. Seeking fulfils everything you seek and beyond. It awakens the Truth in you, it awakens the ultimate possibility in you.

Nithyanandoham is the process that gets you on such a flight to the ultimate possibility. I am going to work with you on your bio energy in Nithyanandoham 1008, and the first thing I am going to do is awaken your seeking.

Nithyanandoham will take a life that is on the path of self-destruction caused by hormonal hijack and put you on a trajectory that will awaken the highest possibilities available to human beings. I will work on your bio-energy and I will pour MY SEEKING into you. This is the alchemy of the highest order and it will happen in 21 days.

A Life Hijacked by Hormones

An ordinary human being, from birth to death, goes on freezing, freezing, freezing himself. His/her life is just a hormonal hijack from birth to death, by the time (s)he wakes up, (s)he has already reached death. The hormones take off and tell you “fly the plane as I say, where I want”, and you are hijacked. When the hormones say “come on land here”, you land, and the land is death. Normal life is just hormones hijacking you. The so called “normal life” is nothing but hormonal hijack.

The Short Walk to Seeking

When you are a teenager, when your mom asks you to buy vegetables or milk or some groceries, you won’t even walk up to the corner of the street. But when you fall in love, especially puppy love, to have a glimpse of your girlfriend or boyfriend, you’ll be ready to walk 5 km.

When you fall in love with something or someone, the capacity to reinvent yourself is awakened in you. Similarly, when you fall in love with seeking, the capacity to reinvent your very core consciousness gets awakened in you.

Where Should I Seek?

Start seeking in all aspects of life. Constantly seek the ultimate truth.

Whether you pick up a job, build a career or get married, in every decision, every action, every step of your life, seeking should be the first priority.

This is the best way to prepare yourself for Nithyanandoham 1008. If you are going to be there physically, prepare yourself by awakening your seeking. If you don’t plan on going for Nithyanandoham, awaken your seeking, you will be there.

The Power of Seeking

In seeking, you can do anything available and possible for human beings. For example, if you can take out your body parts like kidney or heart, wash them, add some energy and put them back, it will be easy to maintain your health. Similarly, you can reinvent your consciousness. Through seeking, you know exactly which part of your consciousness needs to be cleansed and you cleanse it. This is not just cleansing your body, but working with the source behind it.

Seeking just intoxicates you with the Ultimate Truth. When you are intoxicated with the Ultimate Truth, nothing, nothing, nothing else is needed. Life, in its fullest form is experienced.

Are Your Actions Maturing Your Soul?

Seeking is our identity, our inner image becoming ripened.

It is our tastes evolving. What we value as joy, right, success, pain, pleasure – these are our tastes. If these are not maturing as we grow older, then we are simply just growing older, that’s all! This is only the status quo of confusion. Only if your tastes are maturing, if you are bringing awareness to your everyday activities, does authentic seeking begin.

Wake Up from Your Dream

There is a dreaming you and a waking you; when you remember the waking you, the dreaming you merges into the waking you. That’s when you wake up and move to the waking you.

This is a very important truth. In the waking state you exist as somebody, and in the dream state you exist as somebody. The moment you remember the you of the waking state, the person who is dreaming wakes up. It is actually the waking state person who enters into the dream person, removes you from the dream and wakes you up.

In the same way, God, the supremely awakened being, is You. You entering into this waking state person and moving you to that awakened state, is what I call seeking. Authentic seeking is nothing but remembering your highest possibilities in life. Waking up from the lower slumber, from the dream state, is seeking. This is the definition of maturity. When we understand that our dreams can only offer us so much, we naturally wake up from them. Likewise, understanding that living without awareness can only offer us so much, is also maturity of the soul. The highest state of being can only be achieved through seeking, constantly waking up to higher and higher possibilities.

When you are in Nithyanandoham, you allow Me to do this process, which is pouring my seeking and awaken the seeking in you.

The Glare of the Shining Sun Cannot Distract the Seeker

In the Upanishads, the rishis clearly say, “Oh energy which is behind the Sun, covered by your shining form which we can all see, please reveal yourself!” They clearly understand, “your shining face is covering your original truth, please remove that and show your original truth!” Even the glaring Sun could not mesmerize the rishis from the seeking of the ultimate truth. Sometimes, even what you understand as glory is used as a covering. The truthful, effulgent, eternal being is the ultimate s, m, n of all that exists. You are the embodiment of imperishable truth and reality.

Understand, the real danger in your life is when you get cozy with the powers and glories of your life, or the life you appreciate.

You should explore the energy behind this glory, whether it is in your life or the life you appreciate. Because you find find some peace, glory and joy after so much suffering and sadness, you just want to settle down in that very station. But settling down may dull your seeking; it may take away seeking from you which rishis are not going to allow. Seeking should continue forever and ever and ever, it should just become your breathing style, your lifestyle. It should become a part of your very core.

Wake up to the Cosmos!

The moment seeking starts, you wake up to Cosmos!

How every day morning you wake up to this world, in the same way when the seeking starts, you wake up to the Cosmos, the higher energies. You wake up not just from your darkness, you wake up from your glories as well! When the real seeking starts expressing through you, you will not only not be settled with your suffering, you will not be settled with your joys also! You will go on seeking your highest possibilities. This is the real waking up to the Cosmos!
Nithyanandoham will awaken the seeking in you. If you taste seeking, that is enough, you’ve got it. Just to experience seeking, come to Nithyanandoham.

Nithyanandoham 1008: BE There!

0

Nithyanandoham is not just a yoga and meditation program. It is the next revelation from the inner space of an enlightened master and incarnation. Attending Nithyanandoham is giving yourself the ultimate gift of not just tasting, but rejoicing in the space of eternal bliss of enlightenment.

Attending Nithyanandoham is not just a decision, it is a leap. Making it to Nithyanandoham is taking a plunge from the rigmarole of everyday life to the life of the highest possibilities, beyond one’s imagination. It means letting go of your smaller ideas of what is and what can be. The mind often gets riddled with doubts and questions about the nature of the problems often faced by people. Here is an inquisition into those problems or the games played by the mind, and knowing them for what they really are.

The Grip of the Fear of Failure

The fear of failure is the voice in your head that keeps saying, “But what will happen if it does not happen…? How will I handle that…?” It is the small voice that keeps reminding you of all the times when you wanted things to go a certain way and they didn’t and all the suffering it brought.

The real fear you are trying to handle is the fear of how you are going to handle things if it doesn’t take place. That irrational, illogical fear that prevents you from even trusting the fact that Swamiji will take care. Therefore, the nicest thing to do is to say, “Let the fear come. Let all of it come. No issues. Just bring it on. But I know what to do with them. For, I am just going to catch that thought and drop it at Swamiji’s feet.” Because, the thoughts are coming in you. The fear is coming in you. So it is completely in your power to catch that and drop it at Swamiji’s feet.

What is the Context You are Holding?

The difference between any other situation and this is that in the decision of attending Nithyanandoham, you are directly in the care of Paramahamsa Nithyananda. So when you take one step towards him, he literally bears you in his womb as the Cosmic mother. He carries you forward. It is he who creates the resources for you to be at Nithyanandoham.
Those who really want to go to Nithyanandoham, you need to think, “What is the reason because of which we are struggling financially? What is life trying to tell me?” As Swamiji says,

“Whether you are in hell or in heaven, you really need to look at what your consciousness is trying to tell you.”

If you are taking loans to create the realities of your life, what is life trying to tell you about that pattern? Why are you not able to break it? Use Nithyanandoham as the jumping pad to break it, with the clear context that when you take that step towards Swamiji, he takes care of you. He will not leave you orphaned.
The space you hold for Swamiji will determine the space he will hold for you. If you take one step towards Mahadeva, Mahadeva rushes towards you. However, when you relate to the Master, the moment you decide that your entire life is to get towards him, he supports your entire life.

The Grace of the Master’s Feet

When you surrender something at the Master’s feet, you are liberated from it.

Literally, physically and medically speaking, all the nerve endings of the human body end at the feet. So physically speaking, the feet carry the most energy.

It is with the feet that we ground ourselves on the earth. A Master exists in multiple dimensions, multiple realms. Even though all of us do exist in multiple realms, the difference is that the Master is aware of his existence in all of the realms, all of the different dimensions. An incarnation like Swamiji is aware of everything. He is omnipotent and omnipresent. He is connected to everything all the time. His feet are the linking point that bring all the super consciousness, cosmic consciousness down to the realm where we can appreciate and celebrate his presence.

So, when we touch the Master’s feet, the most energy we can possibly get from the Master floods us. Therefore, when we drop something at the Master’s feet it does not just mean that we are putting it in front of him; it means that we are putting ourselves in the highest frequency energy space where it can be dealt with completely.

Swamiji’s feet are that fire where all his energies and powers are stored. So, the moment you think of Swamiji’s feet, you can say “I have this fear. I am dropping it at Swamiji’s feet.” If that fear comes back again, you again say “I am dropping it at Swamiji’s feet.” Tirelessly doing this over and over again liberates you from anything. It simply shows you the results. Surrendering whatever fears you have at Swamiji’s feet gets you results faster than even Google Search, if you are just willing to try it!

“What Will Others Think of Me?”

More than the fear of failure, it is the fear of how others will look at you, talk about you behind your back, react to you, etc that is a source of worry. This is your sva anyakara – conditioning your perception of yourself based on the perception of the world around you.

The moment you drop something at the Master’s feet, there are only two perceptions of you that count – your perception of yourself and HIS perception of you.

If you keep that space of strength, then no matter what happens, people are going to relate to you in a higher space. Swamiji tells us, that in the world around us – the family, the community, the friends and the sangha – there is no such thing as the self and the other. Others are just a reflection of our own inner space.
If you decide that your inner space is going to have the strength of the connection to the Master to create your outer world, first thing that will happen is that there won’t be any possibility for failure. Second, even if by some chance any failure happens, even in that perceived ‘failure’, your state and space will be so high that people will shower you to cause your reality for the next time.

Your Wealth is Your Karma

When you pay for the program you are offering your creation to the Master. Your wealth is your creation. It is an extension of you. That is the karma. This is because it is coming from the wrong context or a half baked context you carry about life. It is coming from a thought current which is not allowing you to go forward, not allowing you to break the karma chakra and making you feel just stuck. So, this money is a by product of a context. When you offer that at Swamiji’s feet, you are offering your karma at Swamiji’s feet. It is just that he is taking off your karmas off your hands and burning it. Therefore, even paying for Nithyanandoham will be HIS gift to you.

Set a strong intention, a declaration, that you will be at Nithyanandoham. The moment you want it, it is yours.

Your Life Need Not Be An Accident!

0
Your Life Need Not be An Accident

Whatever you want to cause as reality, it is possible. You can achieve completion and fulfilment by achieving what you want. You do not have to live with something written accidentally. All great achievements, whether it is an invention, discovery or realization, everything comes out of fantasy. When ‘responsibility’ and ‘fantasy’ combine, all the best things of the world come out, and that is when creativity happens. So, you do not need to destroy your fantasy; just add responsibility to your fantasy.

You are always creating your reality, whether you know it or not!

Right this moment, whatever you are thinking and feeling, is going to decide how you experience life in the coming moments. Not only can you change how you experience reality, you can change the reality itself. This is the difference between meditation and completion or creating the space. So, if we are not actively creating the reality that we really want, we would end up creating something random, or even worse, something opposite of what we wanted.

How to Cause Your Reality

>> Realize that you have the power to do it, and that you are, in fact, already doing it every day, even though you may not have been aware of it.
>> Empty your mind of all the negative or limiting visualizations – fears, worries, guilt, regrets, etc. This is where completion is important. Simple positive thinking will not help, because so called positive thinking is just negative thoughts interrupted by positive ones! You need to discard the whole negative thinking pattern; you need to uproot it from its source. Drop the entire thought current which triggers the negative visualizations in you, by dropping it from the source every time it comes up.
>> Put the seed for the reality you want to cause by verbalizing and visualizing it as happening or as already happened.
>> Once you create the space for something, if there is an incompletion, the whole space collapses. Don’t think if you just complete that incompletion, that space will be there again. No! You have to recreate the space. So, whenever you find an incompletion, complete that incompletion and drop and recreate the whole space again. Only then it gets its own individual energy, intelligence, inspiration.

Catch the Science of Space Creation

Space creation becoming your basic cognition is ‘mano siddhi’. With authenticity, you will always achieve mano siddhi. Space creation can be achieved in three ways:
1) If you continuously live around the Master, you will see how he holds that space. You will pick it up.
2) If you are directly doing the Guru Seva, again you will pick it up.
3) Continuously doing the perpetual completion, again you will get it.
Realize who you really are – “Nithyanandoham!” (I am eternal bliss) – and it will simply happen. Any seed of reality sown from the space of being in the realization of “Nithyanandoham” flowers into a reality.
“Nithyanandoham” is both, the goal as well as the path to the goal, and the ultimate realization.
